Sandra Bullock has revealed that her two children, Louis and Laila, make unexpected cameo appearances in Practical Magic 2.
The Oscar-winning actress shared the news while attending the US premiere of the highly anticipated sequel earlier this week. Bullock said her 16-year-old son Louis and 12-year-old daughter Laila both appear in the film.
Their appearances are deliberately subtle. Bullock explained that viewers may not immediately realize they are watching her children on screen.
“They’re in the movie but not in an obvious way,” Bullock told Access Hollywood. She said she is looking forward to showing Louis and Laila exactly where they appear, adding that the children do not yet know which scenes feature them.
Bullock’s Children Attend the Premiere
Louis and Laila did not walk the red carpet alongside their mother. Bullock revealed, however, that both children attended the premiere with their friends.
The actress has generally kept her family life away from the spotlight. Her latest comments offer a rare glimpse into her relationship with her children and their connection to one of her most recognizable film franchises.
Bullock also spoke warmly about motherhood and said she feels “unbelievably proud” of Louis and Laila. She explained that becoming a parent changed how she approaches her role in their lives.
New Tattoo Sparks Attention
Bullock has continued to protect her children’s privacy over the years. She recently attracted attention after debuting a new tattoo that was reportedly dedicated to Louis and Laila.
The tattoo added to public interest in the actress’s family life, although Bullock has largely avoided discussing personal details about her children.
Her decision to include them in Practical Magic 2 gives fans another connection between her family and the long-awaited sequel.
Bullock Reunites With Nicole Kidman
Practical Magic 2 brings Bullock back together with Nicole Kidman, who reprises her role in the sequel.
The new film also features returning and new cast members, including Joey King and Maisie Williams. The project continues the story of the original Practical Magic, which starred Bullock and Kidman as sisters with a family connection to witchcraft.
The sequel has generated considerable interest among fans who have waited years to see the two actresses return to their iconic roles.
Practical Magic 2 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 11.
