Bahrain activated warning sirens again on Monday, prompting authorities to urge residents to remain calm and move to the nearest safe location as security concerns continue to grow across the Gulf.
In a statement, Bahrain’s Interior Ministry called on citizens and expatriates to follow emergency procedures and rely on official information.
“The siren has been sounded. Citizens and residents are urged to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place,” the ministry said.
Second Emergency Alert Issued
The latest warning came only hours after emergency sirens were activated earlier in the day following Iranian strikes on what Tehran described as drone maintenance and repair facilities at Al-Sakhir Airport.
Bahraini authorities had not reported immediate casualties or significant damage linked to the latest alert at the time of reporting.
Emergency response teams remained on standby as security agencies monitored developments.
Authorities Urge Residents to Stay Calm
Bahrain’s Interior Ministry urged residents to avoid spreading unverified information and to rely on official government announcements.
Authorities also asked the public to follow emergency instructions and remain prepared for any additional precautionary measures.
Officials stressed that public cooperation is particularly important during periods of heightened security.
Gulf Tensions Continue
The renewed warning comes amid rising military tensions involving Iran, the United States and their regional allies.
Several Gulf countries have increased security measures and surveillance while reviewing emergency response plans amid concerns that the conflict could spread to additional areas.
The developments have also increased concerns over the safety of civilians and critical infrastructure across the region.
Bahrain Monitors the Security Situation
Bahraini security agencies are continuing to assess developments and coordinate with relevant authorities to protect the public.
Residents have been encouraged to remain vigilant, monitor official announcements and comply with instructions from emergency services.
As regional tensions remain high, authorities are maintaining heightened readiness while closely monitoring potential security threats.
