Iran Says US Diplomatic Messages Continue Through Mediators

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman discusses Iran US diplomatic messages through regional mediators

Iran US diplomatic messages continue to reach Tehran through intermediary countries despite the ongoing military confrontation between the two nations, according to Iranian officials.

Speaking in Tehran, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei confirmed that mediators are still delivering proposals and messages between Washington and Tehran. He said diplomatic communication has remained active even as military tensions continue to rise.

Iran US Diplomatic Messages Continue Despite Conflict

Baghaei said Iran recently received several diplomatic messages from the United States through third-party countries.

Although he declined to disclose their contents, he stressed that Iranian officials continue reviewing every proposal carefully.

He added that Iran’s diplomatic team remains fully engaged and continues working with regional mediators to keep communication channels open.

Tehran Accuses Washington of Escalation

Baghaei blamed the United States for the latest increase in regional tensions.

He argued that recent military developments resulted from Washington’s decisions rather than Iran’s actions.

At the same time, he repeated that Iran does not seek conflict with neighbouring countries and wants stable relations throughout the region.

Iran Warns Regional Governments

The spokesman also urged neighbouring countries to ensure their territories are not used for attacks against Iran.

He said Tehran expects regional governments to prevent any activity that could worsen the security situation.

According to Baghaei, stronger regional cooperation could help reduce tensions and support diplomatic efforts.

Military Response Will Continue

Baghaei said Iran’s armed forces will continue responding while military attacks against the country persist.

However, he noted that diplomatic contacts remain active alongside the security situation.

Analysts say the continued exchange of Iran US diplomatic messages suggests that both sides are keeping indirect communication alive despite ongoing hostilities.

Officials believe mediation efforts could eventually create opportunities for renewed negotiations if regional tensions begin to ease.
