Tehran Accuses Washington of Escalating Tensions
Baghaei blamed Washington for the recent increase in regional tensions, arguing that the latest military developments resulted from US decisions rather than Iranian actions.
At the same time, he reiterated that Iran does not seek conflict with neighbouring countries.
Tehran, he said, remains interested in maintaining stable relations across the region and preventing the confrontation from spreading further.

The Iranian spokesman also called on neighbouring countries to ensure that their territory is not used to launch attacks against Iran.
Baghaei said Tehran expects regional governments to prevent activities that could further destabilise the security environment.
He argued that greater regional cooperation could help reduce tensions and create conditions for continued diplomatic engagement.
Iran Says Military Response Will Continue
Despite the continued diplomatic contacts, Baghaei said Iran’s armed forces would continue responding to military attacks against the country.
