The family of legendary actor Sam Neill has confirmed his cause of death. They said the Jurassic Park star died from pneumonia after recovering from a rare blood cancer.
Neill was 78. His longtime agent, Philip Grenz, said the family shared the details to stop false information spreading online.

Grenz explained that Neill had fully recovered from angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Doctors treated him with advanced CAR-T cell therapy. The treatment successfully removed all signs of cancer.
Grenz stressed that pneumonia, not cancer, caused the actor’s death.
The family wanted fans to know that Neill had defeated his illness before becoming sick again.
