David Jonsson Black Panther 3 preparations are underway as the British actor trains for his role as the next Black Panther.
Jonsson recently shared several Instagram photos and videos showing his active routine.
The actor appeared to be preparing physically for the demanding superhero role. His activities included hiking, motorcycle riding and morning stretches.

Jonsson shared glimpses of his recent activities with his followers.
In one image, the actor appeared shirtless while climbing a steep hill. Other posts showed him on a motorcycle and relaxing near a beach cove.
He also shared footage of gentle morning stretches.
The varied routine suggests that physical preparation remains an important part of his work ahead of the Marvel production.
Jonsson Takes Over as Black Panther
Marvel revealed Jonsson as the new Black Panther at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
He will play the adult son of T’Challa, the character previously portrayed by Chadwick Boseman.
Boseman starred as T’Challa in the 2018 film Black Panther. He died from colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43.
Black Panther 3 Continues T’Challa’s Story
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrived in 2022 following Boseman’s death.
The film addressed T’Challa’s death and introduced his young son, who was born to T’Challa and Nakia, played by Lupita Nyong’o.
The upcoming film is reportedly expected to follow the character as he grows into adulthood.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed in December 2024 that the third Black Panther movie was in development.
Ryan Coogler is expected to return as director and co-writer.
Denzel Washington Joins Marvel Sequel
The upcoming movie will also feature Denzel Washington.
Coogler previously said he wrote Washington’s role specifically for the actor.
Jonsson celebrated his casting announcement in July. He described the opportunity as a privilege and shared the film’s announced release date of December 15, 2028.
Marvel Cast Returns for New Chapter
The Black Panther franchise has featured several major Marvel stars.
The cast includes Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett and Michael B. Jordan.
Meanwhile, Jonsson has recently appeared in projects including The Long Walk and Alien: Romulus.
His other upcoming work includes the prison drama Wasteman and the buddy comedy The Chaperones.
