If accurate, the news could represent a major development for the film. Wanda’s fate has remained one of the biggest unanswered questions in the MCU since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
At the end of that film, Wanda appeared to sacrifice herself beneath the ruins of Mount Wundagore. She destroyed the Darkhold across the multiverse, seemingly ending her story.
Still, Marvel left her ultimate fate open to interpretation.
