Actress Malini Sharma, best known for her role in the 2002 horror film Raaz, has attracted renewed attention online after her latest pictures and videos surfaced on social media.

Malini Sharma Rose to Fame With Raaz
Malini Sharma began her career through modelling and music videos. She appeared in the popular Bombay Vikings song “Kya Surat Hai” and later featured in music projects involving Mika Singh.
She also appeared in the television series C.A.T.S. before making her Bollywood debut.
Her major breakthrough came with Vikram Bhatt’s 2002 supernatural thriller Raaz. The film starred Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu and became a major success.
Malini gained further recognition through the hit song “Aapke Pyaar Mein”, which helped make her a familiar face among Bollywood audiences.
Despite the success of Raaz, she did not pursue a long acting career.
Actress Chose Life Away From Bollywood

She eventually created The Slow Local, a project centred on regional food, crafts and workshops. The initiative initially operated through pop-ups and events in Mumbai’s Versova area.
Her work eventually took her away from the city and closer to nature.
Malini Sharma Now Runs a Farmstay
Malini now operates a farmstay in the Sahyadri highlands, around two hours from Pune.
Farming and hospitality have become important parts of her daily routine. She grows a variety of vegetables on the property and uses fresh produce to prepare meals for guests.
In one of her videos, Malini explained that producing enough vegetables for everyone who stays at the farm remains one of her biggest challenges.
Her lifestyle now looks very different from her earlier years in Bollywood. Instead of film sets and promotional events, her days involve farming, cooking and hosting visitors.
Malini Returns to the Camera
After staying away from the film industry for around 23 years, Malini has recently returned to the camera through The Slow Local Diaries.
The project allows her to document her current life and share her experiences directly with viewers.
In her first video, she explained that she wanted people to see her farm, daily routine and personal experiences. Rather than playing a fictional character, she said she now wants to show her real life.
