The preliminary inquiry report into the fire at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has been submitted to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, according to sources.
Former interior secretary Shahid Khan, who headed the inquiry committee, submitted the report late at night to Prime Minister’s Adviser Tauqir Shah.
Tauqir Shah then forwarded the report to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and briefed him on its key findings and recommendations.
