Tom Holland Venom Crossover Still Has Hope

The Tom Holland Venom crossover could still happen, as producer Amy Pascal says there is hope that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Tom Hardy’s Venom will eventually share the big screen. The long-rumored Marvel crossover remains one of the most requested superhero projects among fans.

Speaking while promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Pascal joined Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige to discuss the future of Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man universe.

Amy Pascal Keeps the Door Open for the Tom Holland Venom Crossover

During an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Pascal was asked how close the studios came to making the crossover a reality.

Rather than dismissing the idea, she responded positively.

“It would be great, let’s put it that way.”

When asked if there was still hope for Tom Holland and Tom Hardy to appear together on screen, Kevin Feige replied:

“Always have hope.”

Their comments immediately reignited excitement among Marvel fans eager to see Spider-Man and Venom share the screen.

Animated Venom Movie Remains in Development

Although the live-action crossover is still unconfirmed, Pascal revealed that Sony continues developing an animated Venom movie.

The project will reportedly be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, the filmmakers behind Final Destination Bloodlines.

The animated feature is expected to expand Sony’s Spider-Man universe while giving fans another look at the iconic antihero.

Tom Hardy Says the Crossover Nearly Happened

Earlier this year, Tom Hardy admitted that discussions about a crossover progressed much further than many fans realized.

According to Hardy, the project almost became reality.

“We got as close as I could possibly imagine getting, apart from doing a film together.”

He explained that his biggest motivation was giving younger Marvel fans the chance to see their favorite characters together.

Fans Continue Waiting for Marvel’s Biggest Team-Up

Spider-Man remains one of Marvel’s most popular heroes, while Venom has built a successful standalone franchise starring Tom Hardy.

With Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige refusing to rule out the idea, fans still believe the Tom Holland Venom crossover could eventually happen.

Whether it arrives through Sony’s Spider-Man Universe or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it remains one of the most anticipated superhero crossovers.
