Universal Orlando Resort is bringing back its popular Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle nighttime show this fall, giving Harry Potter fans another chance to experience the darker side of the Wizarding World.
The seasonal attraction at Universal Islands of Adventure will run from September 5 through November 1. The nighttime projection show will transform the façade of Hogwarts Castle with dramatic lights, music and special effects featuring Dementors, Death Eaters and other dark creatures from the Harry Potter franchise.
Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle Returns
During the show, visitors in Hogsmeade will see Hogwarts Castle transformed into a sinister version of the magical landmark. The experience will also feature an appearance by Lord Voldemort, adding to the dark atmosphere created through large-scale projections and special effects.
The Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle experience is designed to give visitors a different perspective on the Wizarding World after nightfall. The combination of music, lighting and visual effects creates a dramatic spectacle for Harry Potter fans visiting Universal Orlando this fall.
Death Eaters Take Over Diagon Alley
The dark-themed entertainment will also continue at Universal Studios Florida, where guests can encounter Death Eaters inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley.
The interactive experience will take place on select dates from August 27 through November 1. During the event, visitors can explore an area known as Knockturn Alley, which will feature a darker atmosphere inspired by the sinister side of the Harry Potter universe.
Guests can also visit Borgin and Burkes to browse Dark Arts-themed merchandise and collectibles connected to the event.
Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Celebration
The special entertainment across Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley comes as Universal Orlando celebrates the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film.
With Hogwarts Castle illuminated by dark magical scenes and Death Eaters appearing in Diagon Alley, Universal Orlando is giving visitors multiple opportunities to experience the Wizarding World in a more mysterious and frightening setting this fall.
