West Indies have announced their squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Pakistan, handing left-arm spinner Joshua Bishop his first-ever Test call-up while recalling batter Kirk McKenzie.

The series begins on Saturday with the opening Test in Tarouba, followed by the second match in Port of Spain starting on August 2.

Joshua Bishop Earns Maiden Test Selection

Joshua Bishop has been rewarded for his outstanding domestic performances after emerging as the leading wicket-taker across the past three West Indies Championship seasons.

The 26-year-old left-arm spinner is now in line to make his Test debut against Pakistan.

Kirk McKenzie Returns to the Squad

Batter Kirk McKenzie returns after last representing the West Indies in 2024.

His recall comes after opener John Campbell was ruled out of the series due to a left hamstring injury.

Alzarri Joseph Unavailable

Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph was not considered for selection because of personal reasons, Cricket West Indies confirmed.

The squad will instead rely on experienced pace bowlers Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales and Shamar Joseph during the series.
