Two Palestinians Killed in Deir al-Balah
Two Palestinians died when an Israeli strike hit a tent in Deir al-Balah, according to Gaza’s civil defence service.
The attack happened around dawn in central Gaza.
Rescuers continued searching affected areas after the strike.
The incident added to the growing civilian death toll reported since the October ceasefire.
Children Among Those Killed
A 10-year-old girl died after Israeli artillery fire hit an area north of Khan Yunis, according to civil defence officials and Nasser Hospital.
Another child, aged four, died in an airstrike on the Bureij refugee camp.
Civil defence officials said the strike damaged an entire residential block.
Rescuers also pulled a mother and her child from the rubble of another damaged house.

A separate Israeli airstrike in Khan Yunis killed one person and injured five others, according to the rescue service.

A security source in Gaza City said Israeli aircraft fired three missiles at a water desalination plant in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.
The source said the attack destroyed the facility.
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem condemned the strike.
He accused Israel of trying to deprive Palestinians of essential means of survival.
Israeli Army Denies Targeting Water Facility
The Israeli military denied targeting the desalination plant.
Instead, it said its forces struck a nearby Hamas weapons storage facility.
The army said the facility was located inside a mosque.
It also said Israeli forces had struck another weapons storage site in Deir al-Balah.
According to the military, both locations belonged to Hamas.
The army said it issued warnings before the attacks to reduce the risk to civilians.
