Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan have signed a joint defence agreement in Mecca amid rising tensions across the Middle East.

Trump Expects Iran Conflict to End Soon
US President Donald Trump has said he expects the conflict with Iran to end “pretty soon.”
Trump said Tehran could not continue the confrontation indefinitely. His comments came as regional governments pursued diplomatic and military efforts to contain the crisis.

Yemen Conflict Adds to Regional Tensions
The situation in Yemen has also added pressure across the region.
Yemeni forces reported shooting down several drones. Meanwhile, Yemen’s health minister said Houthi attacks killed two people and wounded 14 others.
Saudi Arabia separately accused the Houthis of carrying out an attack in the southern border region of Najran. Saudi authorities said the attack wounded at least 11 civilians.
