Pakistan has announced cash rewards of up to Rs10 million for information leading to the arrest or elimination of wanted terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, as authorities intensify efforts to strengthen counterterrorism operations across the region.
The move, announced through an official government notification and reported by ARY News, is aimed at encouraging public cooperation in identifying and tracking individuals involved in terrorist activities. The notification referred to the militants as “Fitna al Khawarij.”
Rewards Offered for Key Terror Suspects
According to officials, rewards ranging from Rs500,000 to Rs10 million will be given to individuals who provide credible intelligence that helps security forces locate, arrest, or eliminate the wanted terrorists.
Authorities stressed that all information provided by citizens will be treated with strict confidentiality, ensuring the identities of informants remain protected throughout the process.
Wanted Militants Linked to Multiple Terror Cases
The published list includes suspects from Dera Ismail Khan and surrounding areas, including Kulachi, Daraban, Darazinda, and Prova. Officials said the individuals are wanted in several terrorism-related cases and have been involved in activities threatening public safety and national security.
