The stunning Caribbean destination secured the top position after experts and researchers analyzed hundreds of beaches worldwide using scientific data and visitor reviews.

The ranking highlights Trunk Bay’s crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft white sand, breathtaking scenery and ideal weather conditions, making it one of the most attractive beach destinations on the planet.

Beach.com surveyed 58 travel experts, tourism professionals, content creators and local authorities to create a shortlist of 226 beaches from around the globe.

Why Trunk Bay Took the Top Spot

According to Beach.com, Trunk Bay stood out for its exceptional natural beauty and consistently excellent conditions throughout most of the year.

Travel creator Savanna Crowell described the beach as one of the most breathtaking destinations she has ever visited.

She noted that the beach sits inside a protected national park with spectacular mountain scenery behind it, while visitors enjoy powder-soft white sand and brilliant turquoise waters that almost appear unreal.

The destination also offers favorable weather for approximately 10 months each year.

Europe Dominates the Global Rankings

Several European beaches also earned places among the world’s top destinations.

Elafonissi Beach, Greece

Elafonissi Beach on the Greek island of Crete finished second overall.

Famous for its pink sand, shallow lagoon and crystal-clear water, it remains one of Europe’s most family-friendly beach destinations.

Golden Horn Beach, Croatia

Croatia’s iconic Golden Horn Beach ranked fifth worldwide.

Located on Brač Island, the beach is known for its unique shape, exceptionally clear Adriatic waters and stunning coastal scenery.

Praia da Falésia, Portugal

Portugal’s Praia da Falésia secured ninth place.

Situated along the Algarve coastline, the beach impressed experts with its dramatic cliffs, pristine surroundings and excellent visitor experience.
