Google Docs is also getting a voice-powered tool called Docs Live. It allows users to create and organize documents by speaking.
The feature can turn spoken ideas into a structured first draft. It can also help organize information and adjust the tone of the document.
With permission, Docs Live can pull information from Gmail, Drive, Chat and the web. Google says this can help users move from an idea to a usable first draft more quickly.

Keep brings voice organization
Google Keep is receiving a similar voice feature called Maintain Live. The tool focuses on quick note-taking and organization.
Users can speak their thoughts, and the feature turns them into actionable notes. This can make it easier to capture ideas while traveling, working or moving between tasks.
Google is positioning the feature as a simple way to keep track of thoughts without relying on manual typing.
Gemini voice tools begin rolling out
Google says the new features are rolling out this week.
Gmail Live and Keep Live will be available to Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers. Docs Live will initially be available to Pro and Ultra subscribers.
Business customers using Google Workspace will also receive the features soon. However, Google has not announced one fixed rollout date for all Workspace accounts.
As a result, access may vary even among users with the same subscription.
The latest updates build on Google’s earlier introduction of Gemini Audio models at its I/O event. The company is now bringing those capabilities into everyday productivity apps.
