The Anne Hathaway Christopher Nolan reunion has become one of Hollywood’s biggest stories. The Oscar-winning actress says working with the acclaimed filmmaker again feels like “coming home.”
Hathaway reunites with Christopher Nolan for The Odyssey. It marks their third collaboration after The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Interstellar (2014). More than a decade has passed since their last project. She says returning to Nolan’s set felt emotional, familiar, and inspiring.
“It was more emotional and more artistic,” Hathaway said. “It was sort of like coming home.”

Christopher Nolan’s Style Has Stayed Consistent
Since Interstellar, Nolan has directed Dunkirk, Tenet, and the Oscar-winning Oppenheimer.
Despite those achievements, Hathaway says the director has never changed.
She praised his preparation, leadership, and respect for everyone on set.
“One of the things I was so thrilled to find out is that Chris is such a consistent human being,” Hathaway said.
“He prepares the same way. He treats people with respect. He values every member of the crew.”
Hathaway Says She Returned with More Confidence
Hathaway believes she has changed far more than Nolan.
She returned with greater confidence after years of acclaimed performances and major box-office success.
She also said reuniting with Nolan influenced her performance as Penelope.
According to Hathaway, no other production offers the same creative atmosphere.
“Nothing compares,” she said. “It really does feel like coming home because everyone works at the highest level.”

Hathaway will also return as Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Meanwhile, Nolan continues to enjoy the success of Oppenheimer, which won multiple Academy Awards.
